Anne Hathaway says breaking up with boyfriend Raffaello Follieri has made her stronger.
The actress split with the Italian businessman in June, shortly before he was arrested for fraud.
And she says the experience was a learning curve.
‘The worst thing that happens to you can be the best thing for you,’ she admits. ‘If you don't let it get the best of you.’
But Anne, 25, is in no rush to find someone else.
‘I try not to date where I work,’ she tells The Independent. ‘It makes life easier. Besides, the possibility has never really arisen.
'I don't say no to anybody because I'd hope that people wouldn't say no to me because I'm an actor - but they'd have to be a pretty extraordinary.’
Anne dated Raffaello, 29, for four years.
His charity, the Follieri Foundation, is under investigation by the New York State Attorney General's Office.
