Keira Knightley admits she's always been able to talk to her mum Sharman MacDonald about sex.
The actress, 23, says they had a very open relationship when she was growing up.
‘[It wasn’t] the typical mother-daughter thing,’ she tells Metro.
‘My house was always the one where my brother and his mates would be drinking when they shouldn’t be.
‘Mum and I would always talk about sex.
'She’d come up to my room and have me roll her cigarette and then tell me I had to have one with her.’
Sharman wrote the screenplay for Keira's latest film The Edge Of Love, starring Sienna Miller, 26.
