Ben & Jerry’s will never make an ice cream in honour of Amy Winehouse.
In June, the firm named a new flavour after Sir Elton John, 61.
But Jerry Greenfield, one half of Ben & Jerry's, says the 24-year-old Rehab singer doesn't have the right credentials.
‘I’m not sure that Amy has the proper image that Ben & Jerry’s wants to be connected with,’ he says.
Ben & Jerry’s created Yellow Brickle Road flavour to mark Sir Elton's first visit to their home state of Vermont.
The ice cream, named after his hit Yellow Brick Road, is a mixture of chocolate, peanut butter and cookie dough.
