The Punchbowl could be investigated by council

The Mayfair pub owned by Madonna and Guy Ritchie could be investigated over claims it charged tourists more for drinks than locals.
Westminster Council launched an inquiry after drinkers at The Punchbowl complained locals were charged as much as 40p less per pint.
‘Given the allegations made, the council will be seeking to speak to the licensee,’ says Sue Jones, head of Westminster trading standards.
Assistant manager Henry Heaton denied there was a policy to offer drinks at different prices.
Madonna, 49, and director husband Guy Ritchie, 39, bought the pub in February for a reported £2.5million.

A fuss will be mde over anything, when I lived in cornwall the local use to charge tourists more for drinks than regulars and I am sure it happens everywhere. I am sure there are more inportant things the council could use it resources for.
