Actor's girlfriend was in labour for 14 hours

Matthew McConaughey says childbirth is a messy business.
The actor's girlfriend Camila Alves, 25, had their son Levi last month.
‘We ended up having an epidural because, on the large contractions, the umbilical cord was being compressed,’ he explains.
‘They went in and tried the vacuum. This is where I learned – and no one tells you this – having a baby is a bloody, pukey, sweaty, primeval thing!
'And I mean that as a beautiful thing. It is wild.'
Despite the initial shock, Matthew, 38, was thrilled when his son was born safely by caesarean.
‘I will never forget those 14 hours,’ he tells OK!
‘We danced, sweated, hummed, laughed and cried. We were a real team. It was great.’
