Macca teams up with Nitin Sawhney for emotional track
Tuesday, 5 August 2008
Sir Paul McCartney has written a heartfelt love song for ex Heather Mills.
The pair finalised their bitter divorce earlier this year and now Macca is set to break his silence about the ordeal with acoustic ballad My Soul.
He has teamed up with Nitin Sawhney for the track, which will be released on the British-Asian musician’s album London Undersound in October.
'Paul has done a track about how he feels about Heather and what was going on with the paparazzi. No one has heard his side of it,’ Nitin tells the Daily Mail. ‘It's very emotional and a very powerful song.'
The song explores how Heather, 41, helped Sir Paul, 66, get over the death of first wife Linda from breast cancer in 1998.
The couple met in 1999 and married 3 years later. They have a daughter Beatrice, 4.

If the song is indeed for the ex, this takes the cake in the wimp category. If Paul is so iterested in learning the secrets of the desperate Ms. Mills, he should have stuck it out with her. Writing a syrupy tribute just makes him seem like sap.
Well, it's not exactly Maybe I'm Amazed nor My Love. Poor Paul
