Christina Applegate has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The disease was caught early with a routine MRI and the actress is expected to pull through.
'Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery,' spokeswoman Ame Van Iden tells Reuters.
Christina, 36, was left devastated when on/off boyfriend Lee Grivas was found dead after a suspected drugs overdose last month.
Her mum also battled breast and cervical cancer.
