Saturday, 16 August 2008
Jessica Simpson has revealed a song on her album is based on her own experience of abuse.
The singer made the admission when talking about her forthcoming country record, Do You Know.
But the 28-year-old refused to reveal the details.
'I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run,' she reveals.
But Jessica is determined to stick up for herself.
‘So many people want to bring me down, and I can’t wait to prove them wrong,’ she tells Elle.
‘If [people] believe what they read about me, they automatically persecute and torment me.’
Jessica is currently dating American football star Tony Romo, 28.

Sorry Jess, mean girls who don't yield right of way isn't abuse. You insult all survivors of domestic abuse by pretending to relate to them and then refusing to elaborate because in your heart of hearts you know, this is yet another shallow marketing scheme.
kes "wow" it's like you took the words out of my mouth!!i totally agree with you how can someone compare being bullied in high school regular drama high school stuff that girls face to actual abuse that victims who have or are facing in a relationship this is so insulting and offensive. typical of jessica trying to sell a record i have no respect for this liar, catty beeeacth, drama queen, wannabe fake...get out of country no one wants a fake girl who thinks using a serious issue like domestic violence like this to sell an album, plus dressing western and usibg the term yall doesn't make her country
I have to agree with lauren and kes. I was bullied in H.S. but I would not compare it with abuse at the hands of a spouse or partner.
