Actor says he gets attention from men

Jack P Shepherd's girlfriend is pregnant

Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd admits people assume he's gay.

The actor, who plays David Platt in the ITV soap, says his fashion sense and toned body attract men.

‘A lot of people actually assume I'm gay because I'm quite thin and into my clothes,’ he reveals.

‘I've had a lot of that sort of attention from blokes.’

And Jack, 19, whose girlfriend Lauren Shippey is expecting their first child, doesn’t mind the interest.

‘I suppose it's quite flattering,' he says. 'If someone fancies you it's not a bad thing, is it?’
