Charlotte Church: My dad is a stranger to me

Singer doesn't want contact with real father

Charlotte Church is having another baby with rugby player Gavin Henson

Charlotte Church has ruled out a reunion with her biological dad.

The singer, who is expecting her second child with Gavin Henson, 26, hasn’t seen Stephen Reed, 41, since she was 2-years-old.

But she hasn’t got any intention of letting him or his new family into her life.

‘They are strangers to me,’ she says. 'I don’t know if they are moral.

'Ignorance is bliss. – I’m staying in my own ignorant bubble, right or wrong.’

But Steven, who recently said he wanted to reconcile and meet Charlotte's 9-month-old daughter Ruby, is also worried about making contact.

‘My message to Charlotte is – if it concerns you that much – find out what I’m really like,’ he says.

‘She’s not really in a position to comment because she doesn’t know us.

'I don’t know whether knowing her would be a benefit or a curse.’

Charlotte’s mum Maria is now married to James Church – who adopted Charl when she was a baby.
