Royal expected to start organising wedding to Kate Middleton soon
Wednesday, 30 July 2008
Kate Middleton and Prince William are to announce their wedding plans when he returns from his stint in the Royal Navy.
Sources say that once Wills, 26, has completed his 4-week stint in the Caribbean, he'll be ready to make it official.
‘They’ve been discussing their plans with royal officials for some time, so they’re pretty confident it will be next summer,’ a pal tells Daily Star Sunday.
‘They’ve spoken about venues and William favours St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
‘Westminster Abbey is very much linked to his mother Diana’s funeral and St Paul’s Cathedral is where his parents got married.’
It's thought the wedding day will be marked with a public holiday.
Earlier this week Kate, 26, flew out to meet Wills in the Caribbean.
