Shia LaBeouf did not cause crash

Police say the other driver jumped a red light

Shia LaBeouf's co-star Isabel Lucas was in his vehicle

Transformers star Shia LaBeouf didn’t cause the car crash he was involved in on Sunday night.

Police say the other driver caused the accident.

‘The other car ran a red light and, if not already, they will be cited,’ Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore tells Us Weekly.

‘They will now be listed as Party One on the report, indicating they were at fault.’

Shia, 22, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving following the crash.

He and his co-star Isabel Lucas, 23, who was his passenger, had earlier been watching a band at the Troubadour club.

No one was seriously hurt in the smash but Shia was treated at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a hand injury.
