OMG! Prince Charles books Dita Von Teese for Prince Harry's birthday

Future king didn't realise she's a burlesque dancer

Prince Charles is said to be 'embarrassed' at his gaff

Prince Charles is said to have been charmed when he met Dita Von Teese – so much so that he invited her to perform at his son's birthday.

But poor Charlie had no idea that she's actually a world-famous stripper.

The pair met at the Cartier International Polo Tournament at the weekend where Dita, 35, told Charles she was a ‘dancer’.

Enchanted with the burlesque star, he booked her to perform at Prince Harry’s 24th birthday bash in September.

But Charles, 59, is said to have been left red-faced after being told the nature of her routine.

‘Poor Charles was so embarrassed when he realised what he’d done,’ a source tells the Daily Star. ‘He genuinely had no idea about her raunchy stage act.’

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton flew to the Caribbean yesterday for a reunion with Prince William, who has been on a month-long posting with the Royal Navy.

The pair, both 26, will spend a fortnight at a luxury villa in Mustique.

‘Kate is desperate to see William and has been counting down the days,’ a source tells the Daily Mail.
