Johnny Depp to star in Alice In Wonderland remake

Actor to play The Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s new film

Johnny Depp has appeared in 6 films for director Tim Burton

Johnny Depp is set to collaborate yet again with his old friend Tim Burton.

The director has asked him to star as The Mad Hatter in his new 3D adaptation of Alice In Wonderland.

‘Tim has had designs on Alice In Wonderland since before he was famous,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘He has a knack for turning what seem like stories for just kids into gripping, spooky fables loved just as much by adults.’

Johnny, 45, and Tim have worked together on 6 films including the remakes of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street and Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.

The quirky director, 49, has cast unknown Australian actress Mia Wasikowska in the title role.
