Doctor Who star says fans are turning Stratford-upon-Avon into a sci-fi convention

David Tennant has revealed that it's not just Shakespeare fans who are coming to see his latest role in Hamlet.
The Doctor Who star is appearing in a Royal Shakespeare Company production of the play in Stratford-upon-Avon.
But sci-fi fans have been mobbing David, 37 – meaning he can no longer visit his favourite café during breaks.
‘I can't go there now, it just turns into a sci-fi convention,’ he tells the Daily Mirror.
Fans have also been banned from asking him to autograph Doctor Who memorabilia.
‘The sheer volume of requests means that we need to set some limits,’ a spokesperson tells the Daily Express.
Theatregoers will only be able to get Hamlet-related items signed.
IPC Media Limited, owner of nowmagazine.co.uk, will collect the address of the recipient solely to process your requests.
