Pete Doherty meet up with Lisa Moorish and their son Astile at the weekend

Pete Doherty spent the afternoon with his 5-year-old son Astile at the weekend.

The Babyshambles star was snapped larking about with the youngster in London's Covent Garden.

His ex Lisa Moorish, 36 – who banned Pete from seeing their son when he was born – was also with the pair.

‘Pete hasn’t been the best role model for Astile but he’s determined to clean up his act,’ a source reveals.

‘He wants to see more of him and that meant staying off the drugs.’

Pete, 29, has been clean since leaving jail. It's thought he could even rekindle his relationship with singer Lisa.

‘Lisa is his rock,’ the source tells the Sunday People.

‘She has visited him at his country home several times in the past few weeks and they are enjoying each other's company again. It would be no surprised if they announced they are back together.’

Lisa also has 10-year-old daughter Molly from her relationship with Oasis star Liam Gallagher, 35.
