Piers Morgan: Madonna will divorce by Christmas

Britain's Got Talent judge is sure her marriage to Guy Ritchie is on the rocks

Piers Morgan reckons Madonna will be single by 2009

Piers Morgan is convinced that Madonna and Guy Ritchie will split before the end of the year.

The Britain's Got Talent judge's comments come after Madge's spokeswoman strongly denied divorce rumours.

'Purely on the back of her firm denial, I'm going to have a few quid on a Madonna divorce by Christmas,' he says.

The former editor of the Daily Mirror has strong reason to ignore the statement, having had previous run-ins with her publicist Liz Rosenberg.

'I remember once phoning Miss Rosenberg to ask her if Madonna was pregnant,' he tells Live.

'"No, no, no," she insisted. "Madonna. Is. Not. Pregnant."

'The very next day, Madonna's pregnancy was announced on The Sun's website, with a corroborative quote from one Liz Rosenberg.'
