Peaches Geldof: My tattoos commemorate moments in my life

DJ says each design marks 'a person, place or time’

Tattoo mad Peaches Geldof is the daughter of Boomtown Rats star Bob Geldof and the late TV presenter Paula Yates

Peaches Geldof has revealed why she has so much body art – each design marks a special moment.

‘I have 16 tattoos,’ she says. ‘I have them to commemorate moments in my life. I think it's amazing to be able to have something on my body that reminds me of a person, place or time.’

Despite using the artwork to celebrate the past, Peaches, 19, says she's looking to the future.

‘I'm a strong person,’ she tells The Sun. ‘I’ve been through a lot in my life. But I’m not the type to dwell on things.

‘The things that drive me are love, art and music — those are the only pure things in life. Where do I see myself in five years' time? Hopefully married. I want to get married young.’
