Courtney Love feels a spiritual connection with Madonna

Courtney Love feels a very close bond with Madonna, even though they aren't actually pals.

The singer reckons she was conned by a musician who falsely claimed to have worked with the Material Girl - so she wishes they had more of a rapport.

‘I don't dislike Madonna, I just wish she had returned a call I made a few months back,’ Courtney, 44, writes on her MySpace blog.

‘She would have saved me a fortune on another rip-off artiste who says he works for her, and then I find out that he doesn't.

'We don't have ANY relationship presently but our karma seems intertwined.’
