Snoop Dogg to record duet with Bollywood star

Rapper teams up with Akshay Kumar for bhangra track

Snoop Dogg is recording the song for Hindi film Singh Is Kinng

Snoop Dogg is set to give his fans a taste of something different with his next release.

He's working with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar on a bhangra tune that will be used as the title track for the Hindi film Singh Is Kinng.

Snoop, 36 – real name Calvin Broadus – and actor Akshay, 40, are also planning a Bollywood-style video to accompany the song.

‘Snoop was to have his own crew and clothes,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror. ‘But Akshay convinced him to don a sardar look for the £250,000 video. It's totally different from what you'd expect from him.

‘With the song you get two very different styles - hip-hop with Snoop and bhangra with Akshay. Their chemistry's well worth seeing!’
