Exhausted Billie’s struggling to keep up with her demanding schedule

It appears that the strain of work and pregnancy is taking its toll on Billie Piper

At six months pregnant, Billie Piper’s exhausted. She’s back on the set of The Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, but her busy schedule and mood swings are now affecting her marriage to husband Laurence Fox.

‘Billie’s constantly nauseous, irritable, overtired and stressed,’ a friend reveals. ‘Being pregnant is starting to take its toll on her relationship. They really bicker.’

While Billie, 25, is filming all day in south London, Laurence, 30, is putting in 11-hour days in Oxford on the set of the latest series of ITV detective drama Lewis.

‘Their schedules are crazily busy right now,’ says the friend. ‘They’re desperately trying to keep their heads and home together.

‘Laurence tells Billie that he’ll get the supplies and make a meal, but then he forgets and she gets home hungry and starts bingeing on the wrong foods. They’re all over the place. He makes a few days’ food and freezes it, but then forgets to thaw it out.

‘Laurence tries to get some order into their lives at the weekends, but it doesn’t last. At the moment, their lives are all go and no rest. Billie needs to slow down, eat better and take more time to recharge her batteries.’

Despite the pressure on the pair, the Foxes are looking forward to the new arrival and believe they’ll be back on track as soon as this hectic period ends.

‘Laurence gets home exhausted, but often gives Billie foot and lower back massages using aromatherapy oils,’ the friend says. ‘They love each other, but they really need their lives to calm down a bit in time for when the baby comes.’
