Heather Mills met holiday rep Jamie Walker in Tenerife

Heather Mills splashed out £250,000 on a break with her new boyfriend Jamie Walker last week.

The former model was keen to celebrate as she is about to be granted the decree absolute in her divorce from Sir Paul McCartney.

She took a 20-strong entourage on the week-long trip to the Caribbean island of Necker, owned by Sir Richard Branson.

Hiring the private resort cost £24,000 a day.

‘Heather wanted to celebrate the divorce in style and to thank everyone who has supported her since the break-up,’ a source tells the Sunday Mirror.

Heather, 41, met holiday rep Jamie, 36, while holidaying in the Tenerife in May. He has now moved into her £3m Sussex home.

Meanwhile, ex Sir Paul, 65, introduced new love Nancy Shevell, 47, to his most trusted friends at a special dinner while out in Quebec, Canada, this week.
