Louise Redknapp: I did 8 pregnancy tests

Singer didn't think she'd conceive so quickly

Jamie and Louise Redknapp are expecting a boy

Louise Redknapp was so shocked to discover she was pregnant that she checked eight times.

The singer, 33, had only just decided to try for another baby with footballer husband Jamie, 34, when she found out.

‘I did a test thinking “No way”, and it was positive,’ she tells Hello!

‘A friend popped in to borrow something and when I opened the door she said, ”You’re shaking, what’s wrong?”

‘I took her upstairs, showed her the test and asked her, “Am I seeing things or am I pregnant?”

'She looked at it and said, “Yes, you are!” But even then I couldn’t take it in, I made her check it again.’

Jamie adds: ‘We did eight tests altogether – just to make sure!’

Louise suffers from endometriosis, a condition that can cause fertility problems.

She and Jamie are also parents to 4-year-old son Charley.
