High School Musical stars enjoy romantic break in the Caribbean

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are lovers on and off screen

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have been snapped strolling hand in hand on a summer getaway.

The High School Musical stars – who play on-screen couple Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez – flew to the Caribbean destination of the Turks and Caicos islands.

Zac, 20, and Vanessa, 19, have recently finished filming the third instalment of the series High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

‘They looked so much in love – just like a pair of teenage sweethearts,’ an onlooker tells The Mirror.

‘They were chatting and giggling and could hardly keep their hands off each other.’

High School Musical 3: Senior Year is released in the UK on 24 October.
