Adele: I was attacked by a seagull

Singer was eating an ice cream at the time

Adele hides from seagulls now

Adele says she was once mauled by a seagull.

The Chasing Pavements singer was only 9 when a bird attacked her for her ice cream.

‘I was walking down the promenade in Tenby, eating a 99, when this huge f***ing seagull came down and swiped it off me,’ she explains.

And Adele, 20, says she's still affected by the experience.

‘I’ve still got a scar from its claw on my shoulder,’ she tells Metro.

‘I thought it was going to take me away with it. I’ve got a phobia of seagulls now.’
