Melanie Sykes splits from husband Daniel Caltagirone

No one else is said to be involved in the break up

Melanie Sykes and Italian actor husband Daniel Caltagirone have 2 sons

Melanie Sykes and her husband Daniel Caltagirone have ended their 7-year marriage.

The pair, who wed in the Caribbean in January 2001, are said to have grown apart.

‘The couple have mutually agreed to separate,’ their spokesman has confirmed.

‘In the interest of their boys, they stay friends and will continue to be involved in their upbringing.’

No one else is thought to be involved in the split.

Mel, 37, and Italian actor Daniel, 33, have 2 sons - Roman, 6, and Valentino Luca, 4.

Dan is already believed to have moved of out the family home in North London.

‘We are still best friends and will be for the sake of the kids,’ he tells The Sun.
