The actress longs for her adopted kids to get to know their new sister

When Nicole Kidman first clapped eyes on her newborn daughter Sunday Rose earlier this month, it was an emotional moment for all the family.
Surrounded by her sister Antonia, mother Janelle and, of course, husband Keith Urban, it seemed the family was at last complete.
But Nicole’s adopted children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise – Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13 – weren’t at the birth in a private wing of Nashville’s Baptist Hospital, despite the new mother’s desperate wish that they share her joy.
'The bottom line is that while Nicole really wanted them there, she didn’t push for Isabella and Connor to be at the bedside because Tom Cruise wasn’t happy about it,’ a friend tells Now.
'It’s particularly hurtful because the two kids were at the bedside when Tom’s child Suri by Katie Holmes was born two years ago. Nicole’s putting on a brave face about it all, but she knows that Tom has complicated feelings about the birth because they didn’t have biological kids together and she miscarried shortly after their separation.’
Nicole, 41, has struggled at times to come to terms with the distant relationship she has with her adopted children, famously complaining that they call her Nicole instead of Mom.
It didn’t help matters when Tom’s wife Katie Holmes revealed the children call her Mom as they now think of her as their mother.
Isabella and Connor live with Tom’s sister Cass and her three children in Los Angeles, but Nicole and Keith live on a 36-acre farm in Nashville and the couple also spend increasing time with her family in her home city of Sydney.

In response to the following article. I feel empathy for Nicole's situation as she has been through many traumas in her life especially under the 24 hour 7 days a week scrutiny of the paparazzi ready to pounce like parasites on everything or anything she does or doesn't do. It is obvious Nicole really loves Isabella and Connor …and only wants the best for them and especially for them not to be dragged through the courts and trauma of a nasty divorce. It must have been an extremely difficult divorce for pregnant Nicole especially with Tom's cowardly dump and run low act again. Nicole had to deal with her miscarriage on her own with her two adopted children being ripped from her life so Tom could be number one and use his Scientology power win control of the children. It seems to be more obvious that Scientology is Tom's number one passion in life because he believed it would make him 'God-like in the eyes of the public – so forth the forsade of Scientology. Tom Cruise's ego will never accept anything but being number one on the screen or being 'the God-like' egotisical fantasy with Scientology. Tom finally realizes and acknowledges he has moved to the point of no return. Sorry to say this but I will not miss Tom Cruise the star in his own mind with his insane cult of Scientology and they many people he has hurt along the way to reach the top. Why it is so? Tom Cruise's sister Cass has become the permanent home schooling Scientologist teacher for her own three young children and for some length of time Isabella and Connor live under Cass's control. Why isn't Isabella and Connor living with Tom Cruise fulltime? I pray Isabella and Connor do get the opportunity to one day meet their new little sister Sunday Rose Kidman Urban away from Tom Cruise and his sister Cass. Let there be more love and compassion in the world.
Its her adopted children I feel sorry for being put in between their mother and father like that! It is such a shame that they did not get to be there for the birth of Sunday Rose but I hope that everything works out for the best for Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes all the children involved and Nicole and Keith!
