Couple have been told their baby will be a girl

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are reported to be expecting a baby girl.

The sex of ther child was revealed during a recent check-up - and the couple have also found out their baby is due on Halloween.

'The doctor told them they actually conceived the baby just before Valentine's Day, while they were on vacation, and has given them an initial due date of 31 October,' a source tells Star.

'When Pete heard he might have his baby on Halloween, he went nuts. For an emo-rocker type like Pete, that would be just too perfect!'

Fall Out Boy musician Pete, 29, and Ashlee, 23, who announced the pregnancy in May, are excited about their new arrival.

'This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family,' they told fans on Pete's website.
