Mel B to star in stage version of Legally Blonde

Scary Spice wants a career in theatre

Mel B will play the lead character’s best friend Brooke

Mel B will appear in Legally Blonde on the West End stage.

The Broadway version of the hit 2001 film, which starred Reese Witherspoon, had rave reviews.

And producers hope Scary Spice will pull in the crowds in London.

‘She is a big name and extremely talented,’ a source tells The Sunday People.

‘She is exactly what Legally Blonde needs to make the show a success.

‘Mel has a huge fan base and the producers know she’ll bring in the punters.

'She has a great voice too and this will be her springboard for a successful career in theatre.’

Mel, 33, is expected to play the lead character’s best friend Brooke.
