Britain's Got Talent winner says people don't need to carry weapons
Tuesday, 15 July 2008
George Sampson says he is fed up of teenagers stabbing each other.
And the Britain's Got Talent winner urges people not to use weapons.
'Please put down the knives everyone - there is no need to carry one,' he says.
'People can find positive ways to deal with problems.'
George, 15, made the comments following the murder of Ben Kinsella, 16, who was knifed outside a London pub last month.
He was the brother of former EastEnders actress Brooke Kinsella, 24.
'What happened to Ben was terrible,' he tells The Sun. 'My best wishes go out to his family.'

god i agree with this so much, people should put the knives down they think it makes them look hard and think they will be respected but they won't. i hate it that all these people are being killed and stabbed i think its so pointless, people just throwing other peoples lives away!! i hate how we can't go near other people we don't know in the streets because it might not be safe, and i cant say anything to anyone who's doing anything cause i could get stabbed or anything! i saw a man abusing his dog in a field the other day, whipping it with a chain, and i wanted to run over and stop because i love animals so so much, i'm going to work with them when i'm older and as soon as i turn 14 next month i am going to volunteer in animal rescue centers, anyway i saw the man hurting his dog, and the dog was crying and i tryed to run over to stop it but my mate had to hold me back in case he had a knife and i can still hear and see that dog it makes me sick that we have to be scared of other people because if we say anything we coould die for just saying that! just put the knives down its pointless and u will live to regret it.
I so agree with u george what is the point in carrying weapons anyway its only going to get u in2 trouble and u might even get hurt DONT take the RISK
