Footballer ends 6-month relationship with Spanish model

Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked to Gemma Atkinson in the past

Cristiano Ronaldo is said to have ended his relationship with Nereida Gallardo.

The couple are thought to have parted ways last week, according to Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas.

The reasons for the break-up haven’t been confirmed, although sources have speculated that the footballer's mum Dolores did not approve of the Spanish model.

Nereida, 24, is currently holidaying in Ibiza with a pal to get over the split.

Cristiano, 23, is recovering from an op on his ankle.
