Bully left fighting for his life after he slips on scaffolding

Hollyoaks’ Ste Hay is left fighting for his life in a freak accident.

The violent teen tries to commit suicide after his girlfriend Amy Barnes’ dad, Mike, beats him up for domestically abusing her.

‘Mike has always tried to defend Ste but when he sees Amy in a mess he storms around to the flat to collect her things,’ a Hollyoaks source tells the News Of The World.

‘Ste has too much to say so Mike lashes out.’

Ste, played by Kieron Richardson, feels so guilty that he decides to take his own life and climbs to the top of some scaffolding.

Father Kieron Hobbs, played by Jake Hendriks, manages to talk him round.

But when Ste sees Amy in the gathering crowd of onlookers, he loses his balance and plummets to the ground.

See if Ste survives when the episode airs on Tuesday 29 July.
