Wayne Rooney and Coleen McLoughlin 'call off UK wedding party'

Pair said to be too tired to party after their honeymoon

Wayne Rooney and Coleen McLoughlin wed last month in Portofino

Wayne Rooney and Coleen McLoughlin are said to have shelved plans to hold a second wedding reception in the UK.

The pair, who tied the knot in Italy last month, apparently told extended family they’d have a bash for those who couldn’t attend the £5million do.

But now Wayne and Col, both 22, are thought to have made a U-turn – because they’re too tired from their honeymoon.

‘Because the wedding was so intimate lots of the family couldn’t go but we were told there would be a big event afterwards where everyone was invited,’ a source tells the News Of The World.

‘Now it’s been cancelled because they are partied out. It’s caused a lot of bad feeling.’

A spokesman for the newlyweds says: ‘Wayne and Coleen enjoyed a fantastic wedding and now it’s back to work.’
