Singer seen on an outing to the shops with his kids
Thursday, 10 July 2008
Michael Jackson has been photographed in a wheelchair on a trip to a book shop.
The singer wore a mask, shades and draped a blanket over his head as he was wheeled to Barnes And Nobel in Las Vegas.
He arrived with his 3 kids Prince Michael, 11, Paris Katherine, 10, and 5-year-old Prince Michael II - known as Blanket.
'He was in the shop for about two hours in total,' an onlooker tells the Daily Mail.
'There was no special treatment. The shop was not closed to the public at any point.
'There were quite a few members of the public who knew he was there but no one approached him.
'To be honest, he looked a bit weird wheeling himself around covered up in a surgeon's mask and that is probably what freaked people out to not want to approach him.'
Michael, who turns 50 next month, is rumoured to be making a track with boyband New Kids On The Block.

I am a 13 year old girl and it make me sad that my favorite idol Michael Jackson is not feeling well. I hope he will get better soon. I wish people would stop making up stupid stuff about him. It is stressing him out and that maybe why he is not feeling well. some people believe that if you are stressed that you can get really sick. get well soon michael.
I only hope the best for Michael. For such a wonderful man its hard to see him go through all the stuff hes had to go through. I support him all the way.
Fans who accessed court documents and trial transcripts, know that he has had lupus for years, it was confirmed by a medical specialist. That is what caused his extensive vitaligo, and why he had to be hospitalised with flu type virus. His immune system is supressed with daily injections to keep the condition under controll. That is one of the reasons his fans are so vocal in support of him. People who mock him, and mocking a man with a potentially fatal condition, who has suffered disfigurement as a result, and shame on them for doing that.
