Singer stays at home to see his pet have kittens

Pete Doherty lost out on £60,000 this weekend – because his cat was giving birth.

Babyshambles were due to get the cash to play the Werchter Festival in Belgium.

But Pete, 29, decided to stay at home to see his moggy have kittens.

‘He’d do anything for his cats no matter what the cost,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘But he’s mad to let that kind of money go.’

The singer, who dated Kate Moss, 34, has up to 10 cats at his Wiltshire home.
