Finalist speaks out about the size zero debate

Britain's Next Top Model finalist Alex Evans will compete for the winner's crown tonight

Britain’s Next Top Model contestant Alexandra Evans has spoken out in favour of size zero models, claiming they look better on the catwalk.

The 18-year-old is among the 3 girls in tonight's finale.

‘I’m not really against size zero, I think it looks amazing on the catwalk,’ she tells The Sun. ‘Ultimately, you’re a hanger for the clothes and the designer's interests have to come first.

‘You can’t send a heifer down the catwalk.’

Alex’s comments come after fellow finalist Stefanie Wilson revealed that her size 10 figure puts her at a disadvantage as a model.

The two are set to battle it out with Catherine Thomas in tonight’s show, which airs at 9pm on Living TV.
