TV presenter breaks kneecap in riding accident
Monday, 7 July 2008
Anthea Turner underwent emergency reconstructive surgery on her kneecap.
The TV presenter was injured while horse riding with husband Grant Bovey in Dunsfold, Surrey.
His steed kicked Anthea, 48, in the knee.
She now has the leg in a brace and can only walk with the help of crutches.
‘It's like someone taking a hammer to your knee, unbelievably painful,’ she tells the Daily Mirror.
‘I will have to have physio for a few weeks.’
