Matt Damon: I've lost my Sexiest Man Alive crown

Actor thinks his weight gain has cost him the title

Matt Damon has had to put on weight for his latest film, The Informant

Matt Damon reckons he may have lost his Sexiest Man Alive award now he’s put on a few pounds.

The actor had to get flabby for his latest movie, The Informant, and he says it’s ruined his toned physique.

‘I think I lost my [Sexiest Man Alive] title,’ the actor jokes.

‘It wasn't necessarily that I needed to be fat. It was that I needed to be “doughy”.’

Matt, 37, who was given the title last November by US magazine People, has been snacking on junk food to gain weight.

‘I just stopped working out and basically just ate whatever I wanted,’ he tells People.

‘I ate a lot of In-N-Out, a lot of burgers, a lot of beer and basically had a great time.

'When you're in your 20s you can do that kind of stuff. When you're in your 30s, its a whole different ballgame.’
