Amy Winehouse gave dad Mitch the slip on Tuesday night

Amy Winehouse has been put on round-the-clock watch – to keep her away from drugs.

Music bosses are said to be concerned over a recent interview she gave to Rolling Stone magazine, saying she’s never felt treatment has worked.

‘I've never been to rehab - I mean, done it properly,’ she says. ‘I'm young and I'm in love and I get my nuts off sometimes. But it's never been like: "Amy, get your life together."

‘To be honest, my husband's away, I'm bored, I'm young. I felt like there was nothing to live for. It's just been a low ebb.’

Amy, 24, will now have minders to keep an eye on her.

‘Effectively, Amy's been put under house arrest,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror. ‘She's being monitored 24/7 to make sure she's behaving herself and keeping out of harm's way.

‘There's also a security guard stationed outside her house to vet any undesirables. From now on there'll be no more waifs and strays - or fans - coming into her place wreaking havoc.'

On Tuesday Amy was snapped making an impromptu late-night dash from her Camden home.

She appeared to be trying to run away from dad Mitch, 57, who has been with her since she checked out of The London Clinic.

Amy gave him the slip by jumping into a passing convertible. After being dropped off at a Camden pub, she was seen being escorted home by Mitch.
