Madonna and Guy Ritchie say their marriage is solid

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have been snapped leaving a restaurant in New York looking cosy and happy together.

The couple were rumoured to have consulted divorce lawyers last week, but last night they were showed a united front as they headed hand-in-hand to Italian restaurant Cesca.

‘[They looked] like a normal couple who just wanted to have a nice dinner out,’ an onlooker tells People.

‘Everyone was whispering and saying: “Wow, that was Madonna. She's supposed to be separating from her husband. I can’t believe she's here."’

Madonna, 49, and Guy, 39, are parents to sons Rocco, 7, and adopted David Banda, 2. Madge also has daughter Lourdes, 11, from a previous relationship.
