Angelina Jolie has been admitted to the Lenval Hospital in Nice, France to prepare for the birth of her twins.
'She's very well. Everything is fine,' spokeswoman Nadine Bauer tells the Associated Press.
Angelina, 33, is not reported to be in labour but is expected to remain in the maternity wing until the babies - who aren't due until mid August - are delivered.
The Hollywood star chose to have youngest daughter Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt in Namibia, Africa in May 2006 but has chosen Europe as the birthplace for the newest additions to the family.
She and partner Brad Pitt, 44, are also mum and dad to adopted kids Zahara, 3, Pax, 5, and Maddox, 6.
The twins are thought to be girls and it's rumoured they'll be named Isla Marcheline and Amelie Jane.
