Charlotte Church 'would like a baby boy'

Singer said to want a brother for daughter Ruby

Pregnant Charlotte Church wants a baby boy, according to an insider.

The singer, 22, announced last week that she was expecting again – just 9 months after having her first child.

And a close pal says she and partner Gavin Henson, 26, hope her 13-week scan will reveal she’s carrying a boy.

‘Charlotte really wants one of each,’ a friend says. ‘She would love a baby brother for Ruby.’

And the star's mum Maria, 42, is delighted she has another grandchild on the way.

‘We’re absolutely delighted Charl is expecting again,’ she says.

'The family is thrilled and I’m nearby to help her out.

'She knows it’s going to be a challenge having 2 young babies but she’ll take it in her stride.’

Charlotte, 22, will return to TV screens with The Charlotte Church Show on Channel 4 next month.
