Footie star will search for the country's best young player
Sunday, 29 June 2008
Wayne Rooney will front a TV series to find the nation’s best young footballer.
The Manchester United star, 22, will scour the country to find a player he can nurture and guide.
‘This programme will feature some real hot-shots – it’s not about kids showing off their skills and just doing keepie-uppies,’ says a source.
Wayne Rooney's Street Strike will air on Sky One later this year.
The footballer's new wife Coleen McLoughlin, 22, has also been signed up for a second series of Coleen’s Real Women on ITV2.
