Kanye West has posted a furious message on his online blog defending his late show at the Bonnaroo Music Festival.
The rapper arrived on stage 2 hours later than scheduled because previous act Pearl Jam overran by an hour.
And as impatient fans waited for Kanye to come on, they began hurling cans, toilet paper and glow sticks at the empty stage.
But the singer says he wasn't at fault and blames organisers for the delay.
‘I am sick of negative people who just sit around trying 2 plot my downfall,’ he writes.
'Bonnaroo should have released a statement in my defence but, since they haven't, let's break down the walls on this Truman Show and let you know what really occurred!!!'
Kanye, 31, says festival organisers failed to allow his crew enough time to set up his elaborate stage set.
‘This is the most offended I've ever been... This is the maddest I will ever be,’ he rants.
‘It broke my heart that I couldn’t give these fans Stronger in its finest form. I’m sorry to everyone that I didn’t have the ability to give the performance I wanted to. I’m sorry.’
