Irish actor has been dating novelist Emma Forrest for 6 months

Colin Farrell has been secretly dating British writer Emma Forrest for 6 months, it's been revealed.

The couple were introduced to each other earlier this year by Martin McDonagh, who directed Colin's film In Bruges.

Now the novelist has been credited with taming the Irish badboy actor.

‘Colin is a changed man,’ says a source. ‘Emma has been a steadying influence and they have hit it off big time. They have spent months trying to keep the relationship under wraps because they are falling madly in love.'

And Colin, 32, is so smitten he’s planning to share a home with Emma.

‘In the past, Colin has gone for stereotypical movie star girlfriends — airheads, models and glamour girls,’ the insider tells The Sun.

‘Emma has offered him something completely different. It’s more than just a physical attraction. They are planning to move in together in LA soon.’

Colin was married to English actress Amelia Warner, 26, for 4 months in 2001. He also has a son, James, 4, with model Kim Bordenave.
