Madonna hires Sir Paul McCartney divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton?

Singer keen to protect her fortune in split from Guy Ritchie

Madonna and Guy Ritchie are said to be announcing a split in November

Madonna is rumoured to have employed the services of Sir Paul McCartney's divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton.

It's thought Madge is planning to announce her split from husband Guy Ritchie in November, after her Sticky And Sweet tour finishes.

She is said to have hired Fiona to protect her fortune because Guy, 39, never signed a pre-nuptial agreement.

Madonna, 49, is said to have had talks with her about the 7-year marriage in April.

‘Madonna always seeks out the best in whatever field she is interested in at any given time,’ a pal tells the Daily Mirror.

‘Fiona Shackleton is the best. Madonna was impressed by Fiona's work for Sir Paul and the way she handles herself in the public eye. She is a consummate professional.’

Heather Mills, 40, was awarded a £24.3m divorce settlement from Sir Paul, 65.
