Designer says the clothes weren't up to scratch
Saturday, 28 June 2008
Vivienne Westwood has admitted she was less than impressed with Sex And The City: The Movie.
The designer created the wedding dress worn by Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie Bradshaw in the flick.
But the 67-year-old thought the rest of the clothes chosen by stylist Patricia Field were dull.
‘I thought Sex And the City was supposed to be about cutting edge fashion,’ she rants.
‘There was nothing remotely memorable or interesting about what I saw.
'Apart from my own, I can’t remember any of the other clothes worn in the film.
'I went to the premiere and left after 10 minutes. It was quite dull.'
