Lee Ryan has announced that he's to become a father for the first time.

The Blue singer and fiancée Samantha Miller, 20, revealed the pregnancy to family and friends at his 25th birthday party last Tuesday.

‘Everyone was shocked when Lee revealed he was getting wed later this year – and a baby was on the way,’ says a source.

‘They've only been dating a few months and we didn't expect him to settle down any time soon.’

Lee and Sam's romance began after she posted revealing snaps of herself on his MySpace page.

‘He is totally devoted to her,’ the source tells the Sunday Mirror. ‘They make a great couple.’

Lee’s mother Sheila has confirmed the happy news: ‘Sammy is a lovely girl and she and Lee are really happy.

'The wedding arrangements haven't been made yet.’

He was previously engaged to Atomic Kitten star Liz McClarnon, 27.
