Singer said to be coughing up blood

Friends of Amy Winehouse fear she may have tuberculosis after the singer showed symptoms of the potentially fatal disease.
She is said to have been coughing up blood, suffering from a chest infection and has lost her appetite.
Amy, 24, who is undergoing tests at The London Clinic after collapsing on Monday, is also reported to have an irregular heartbeat.
‘Amy is in a bad way,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘Doctors are still struggling to control her heartbeat but the chest condition has been really worrying them.
‘She’d been suffering horrible coughing fits and hurling up blood for a while but refused to be examined.
'Doctors now believe it is TB and are doing more tests to be certain. The word tuberculosis might frighten her into getting herself well. It certainly should do.’
Amy’s illness could mean that she has to pull out of Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday gig in Hyde Park and Glastonbury next week.
