Show bosses line up new contestant after Alex De-Gale gets the boot

A new housemate will enter the Big Brother house tonight, following the removal of Alexandra De-Gale.

The 23-year-old was given the boot after show bosses said she intimidated other housemates and used threatening behaviour.

It is thought the mystery contestant will make their entrance after Davina McCall's pre-recorded interview with Alex on tonight's show.

Meanwhile, Alex has blasted Channel 4 for ‘falsely depicting her as violent and aggressive’.

She insists her comments – which referred to her ‘gangster friends’ – were taken out of context.

'I wasn't threatening anyone,' she tells the Daily Star. 'They can put it in whatever context they want. It's ridiculous.'

Alex was the second contestant to leave the house after Stephanie McMichael, 19, was kicked out last Friday.

The new contestant will join the rest of the housemates just after 10pm tonight.
